Vivid was founded by James Shillcock in 2013 to create a company promoting mental clarity and wellbeing.

Back then matcha was unheard of in the UK despite being a huge part of Japanese culture thanks to its potent health benefits for brain and body.

James discovered matcha whilst visiting Asia and subsequently working for a tea business in the UK. Vivid’s range is available in leading retailers across the UK including Tesco, Holland & Barrett, Wholefoods and Amazon.
